STEPHEN COLLIS

Stephen Collis is the author of Mine (New Star, 2001), Anarchive (New Star,
2005), and a handful of chapbooks, including most recently Blackberries
(Bookthug, 2005). His poetry has appeared in numerous journals throughout
Canada and the United States, and his essays on contemporary poetics have
appeared in West Coast Line, Mosaic, Jacket Magazine, and in the book The
Question of the Gift (Routledge, 2002). Collis has also edited the anthology
Companions & Horizons (West Coast Line, 2005), and his critical study,
Phyllis Webb and the Common Good, is forthcoming from Talonbooks (2007). He
teaches American Literature and Contemporary Poetry at Simon Fraser
University.
