Talonbooks is pleased to be launching Adeena Karasick’s provocative and visually arresting book of verse, Amuse Bouche; griddle talk, a compilation of engaging brunch conversations between poet bill bissett and author Carol Malyon, plus bill's latest book of poetry, sublingual; a series of captivating poems, gifts, by rob mclennan; and collection of new short stories by Garry Thomas Morse, Death in Vancouver.

filling Station magazine is proud to host a celebration of the 15th anniversary of Vancouver/Ottawa’s own Pooka Press. Publisher Warren Dean Fulton will be in Calgary to help us toast one of Canada’s most vital micropresses.
Since 1994, Pooka Press has published stellar poetry from many Canadian writers, both established and emerging, including such luminaries as George Bowering, Susan Musgrave, and bill bissett. We hope you will join us for an evening of literary excitement and fun!
