TO the desk of derek beaulieu, likely still boycotting the blog

Hey!

Since part of this festival's mandate is the free and open sharing of clever missives, wouldn't it be grand if the New Gallery opened their wall space to all kinds of creative expression? Fat felt markers? Collage? Sloppy painted glops?

The festival could create its own marvelous chocolate factory of fun!

Of course, it would be only fair if a corps of volunteers made their services available to help re-paint the walls after the event...

im actually not boycotting the blog at all - dont know where these vicious rumours begin ;) ... we'll see about the wall-art - it will depend. i am hoping that this can be as relativly easy as possible, and repainting might be beyond that ease - BUT there may be a sign in banner comment thing perhaps!

I second the marker-on-wall idea! Interactive! Interactive! Then Sandy Lam and Erin Fitz-P can take photos and then we can publish them with a selection of performers' writing! Then we can take over the world!

And what about a bake sale? What exactly is a cake-walk? Is it like a perp walk?
